Cole attended Gardner-Webb University on an athletic scholarship where he was an NCAA Division 1 swimmer for four years. He graduated from Gardner-Webb, in May 2014, where he earned a BA in Communications with an emphasis in Graphic Design. Cole is currently employed by the City of Charlotte municipality.
